I’ve always been captivated by shadows, light refracting through glass, or objects casting shapes that in essence are the absence of light. When it came to capturing the scenery of the Central West, the distinctly smooth hills, deliberately planted tree lines, and the way the light changes colour and position depending on the season fascinate me. In Summer the tree lines dotted against the hills cast dark lollipop-shaped shadows and the giant cumulus clouds that sit so low in the sky look like soft serve ice-creams.
